Purpose:

  • Your data will be processed either in order to respond to your queries and send you requested information, or, in the case of contracting our insurance products, the management and control of the established relationship (insurance contract); It may also send you advertisements for other products and services commercialized by INSURAMA In the case that your insurance policy includes theft or pickpocketing coverages, we will require the customer to install INSURAMA APP on the insured device, with the active geolocation function, as, in the event of a claim, it will be necessary for us to have geolocation coordinates sent from the insured device, through the INSURAMA APP during the day of the incident, and at least 5 days prior to the date of the theft or pickpocketing.

 Legitimation: INSURAMA is legitimized:

  • In the case of contracting our products, the legal basis for the processing of your data is the execution of the insurance contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b);
  • In the case that your insurance policy includes theft or pickpocketing coverages, we will require the customer to install INSURAMA APP on the insured device, with the active geolocation function, as, in the event of a claim, it will be necessary for us to have geolocation coordinates sent from the insured device, through the INSURAMA APP during the day of the incident, and at least 5 days prior to the date of the theft or pickpocketing. INSURAMA has been legitimized to do so in the contract and consent when accepting it and also in the legitimate interest of fraud prevention (recital 47 GDPR).
  • Insurama may also process your data in the context of legitimate interest limited to updating or providing information on the contracted services (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
  • Offering of other products and services is based on the consent that will be specifically obtained from you where applicable; This consent may be withdrawn at any time without retroactive effect and without affecting the performance of the subscription contract under any circumstances (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
  • In these cases, and based on article 21 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, such information may be sent by email, SMS or any other equivalent means of electronic or telematic communication, including direct contact by telephone.

Typology of data processing.

The type of data that will be processed will be those that appear in the questionnaires that you complete for the respective purposes. In the event that an online contract is made, the IP address of the user’s computer will be stored for evidentiary purposes and as a fraud prevention measure; Likewise, in the case of contracting theft and robbery coverage, the geolocation of your mobile phone must be activated. In the event of contracting our insurance products, INSURAMA BROKER ONLINE, S.L.U. will communicate this data to the insurance companies with which it has signed a distribution agreement, as well as to its eventual underwriting agencies, for the purpose of managing the inception of the insurance policy and the provision of the coverage service associated with it. This communication is essential to make it possible to take out the insurance.

Apart from this, no other recipients than those provided for in the law are not foreseen.

Shelf life

This data will be kept for the duration of the relationship established or you do not exercise your right to object or, where appropriate, you express your desire to revoke your consent, by writing to the email address dpo@insurama.com.
